Our Story

Squall Shop was birthed while sailing the Andaman Sea in Southeast Asia on a 36’ sailboat we called “home”. In 2019 we set out for one of our biggest adventures yet! We knew nothing about living on a sailboat but were determined to follow our dream of traveling to remote places by sailboat and seeing the world like true explorers! And that’s what we did.

Along our journey we came across artisans, woodworkers, and skilled leather-smiths whose craft and attention to detail is unparalleled. We witnessed firsthand how hard these wonderful people work and watched as they spun clay into the most beautiful stoneware we’ve ever seen!

We also want to make a difference in the world by supporting the next generation, which is why 10% of all profits go toward helping local Thai orphanages.
